Construction time again, you’d barely noticed it was closed before the paint is already dry and Delaney’s Wanchai (G/F, One Capital Place, 18 Luard Road, Wanchai, 2804 2880) has re-opened after a quick sprucing up. However as we go to print it seems that construction problems are slowing down the opening of Q (Bsmt, California Tower, 30-32 D’Aguilar Street, LKF, 2868 6062) the new club operating under the management of the Epicurean Group which is still being renovated with plans for it to open before the end of August.
It’s only the middle of August but the new English Premiership season kicked off last weekend and your favourite sports bars and pubs will be screening games courtesy of new broadcaster NowTV. There are lots of supporters clubs around for the various teams so join up with some like-minded fans to cheer your team on.
