Journey’s End
R. C. Sheriff’s WWI play, Journey’s End, was first performed in 1928, ten years after the end of the global military conflict that resulted in more than 9 million deaths. A dramatic work that takes its audience back to the hell of the Western Front to observe the horror, heroism and humanity of it all, it will be accorded a four day run at the Fringe Club from November 7 to 10. We have two pairs of tickets to a performance to give away to those folks who send us the correct answer to the following question: When is Remembrance Day?

Rising Star
Popular and critically acclaimed in his home country of Spain, pianist Javier Perianes is also fast gaining a big reputation in much of the rest of the world. On Wednesday, October 24, Perianes will make his HKSAR performing debut at what will be only event number two of the fledgling Rising Stars Piano Series. And should you hanker to be in the audience for it, please take note that we have a pair of tickets for the Javier Perianes in Recital concert to give away to a knowledgeable reader who can tell us the name of Spain’s capital city.
