editor's bit

Welcome to twenty 08, and if you’re thinking that it seemed only yesterday that we were welcoming in twenty 07, then join the club. The good thing about 08 is that it’s a leap year, so we have 24 more hours to do all those things that don’t get finished in the 31 556 926 seconds that comprise a normal year.
It’s hard to think of January, when it’s still the middle of December as I write this and the Christmas parties are in full swing, hangovers abound and there’s far too much festive food on the menu. And the most important item on everyone’s agenda is trying to get everything finished before taking a short festive break.
When you don’ t have anything to say, it’s usually best to shut up. So here’s hoping you all had happy and enjoyable holidays. Let’s raise our glasses to twenty 08 and all the hopes and dreams that she holds.

Happy New Year from everyone at bc magazine.
