The Find: Bunny Ears and Tail Set
Final price: $20
Where found: Cross Street, Wanchai

Here are a couple of accessories you bunnies just can’t be without! Two pink rabbit ears, which adjust to any configuration, are stuck onto a furry headband and the hare-brained look is finished with a bob tail to attach to you know where. How can you not be a Hugh Hefner success story wearing these on a night out? People just won’t be able to stop themselves squeezing that cute little tail! But the bunny bits will also come in handy for any costume party – picture yourself in a tuxedo, mini skirt or even a school uniform made that little bit spicy with floppy pink ears and a tail to match? For only $20, this set has to be part of your wardrobe. Anyone for carrots?

If you want to refresh memories of college sweethearts, University station is the place to go. Built and opened in 1955, the station was originally called Ma Liu Shui but was renamed University in 1966 after the nearby Chinese University of HK, one of the territory’s oldest and most distinguished institutions of higher education. Take a wander around Chinese U’s campus and discover the little lanes and paths that wind around the sprawling campus’s various trees, streams, and historical buildings.

Just five minutes’ walk from the station, next to the university’s stadium, a bridge over a lotus pond leads to the little red traditional Pavilion of the Lion. It is a place of poetry and romance, where one easily imagines sweet adventures in early spring breezes and scattered moonlight. But take care, most of the university’s ghost stories mention the lotus pond where a ‘long-haired lady in white’ might be encountered from time to time.
