The sport doesnt stop this summer, the soccer and rugby season’s may have reached their climax. But wedged in between now and the sporting orgasm that is the olmpic Games we have UEFA 2008, commonly known as the European championships. San Miguel and Carlsberg both have promotions running throughout the tournament. So check your favourite outlets to see what’s on offer.

Chances are though that if you fancy a smoke you’ll now have to step outside... bc is 100% behind the governments anti-smoking intiative for restaurants and bars. But rather than just banning smoking outright they drafted a poorly written law which allowed some outlets to obtain exemptions until 2009 - based on an unspecified percentage split of revenue from alcohol verses food. This managed, as governments usually do, to upset everyone - and now they are moving the goalspost again... I doubt they have even thought what will happen in 2009 when all the smokers are standing outside on the pavement - blocking it for regular pedestrians.
