Mask Mischief
From France’s Groupe Démons et Merveilles comes Les Masques!!!, a mask theatre presentation suitable for the whole family, with a multi-generational collection of characters. The ninth original show produced by the 17-year-old company specializing in a “theatre of images, visuals and without text”, Les Masques!!! promises to be full of fun, mischief and farcical humour by folk in fantastical costumes and disguises. We have two pairs of tickets to the Friday, July 25, show at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre’s Theatre to give away. To win yourself a pair, simply tell us the French word for ‘mask’.

Hawaiian Hoku
At the Aloha Hoku Gala part of this year’s International Arts Carnival, audiences will no doubt be thrilled by the enchanting sounds of the ukulele and the hula dancers. However, Nathan Aweau (three-times winner of Hawaii’s Male Vocalist of the Year award) and singer-pianist-composer Nohelani Cypriano will be the two headlining hoku (Hawaiian for ‘stars’) of the shows. We have two pairs of tickets to the Saturday, July 26, show at the Yuen Long Theatre’s Auditorium to give away. To win yourself a pair, just provide us with at least one of the meanings of the Hawaiian word ‘aloha’.

All-American Boys Chorus Concert
Young they may be (none are over 16 years of age) but the All-American Boys Chorus already know far more than just kids’ songs. Indeed, the programme for these versatile vocalists at their Wednesday, July 30, concert at the Sha Tin Town Hall’s Auditorium promises to be wide-ranging – classical, jazz, folk tunes and more. We have two pairs of tickets to this Concert by the All-American Boys Chorus to give away. To win yourself a pair, simply supply the correct answer to the following question: What is the name of the American national anthem?

International Collaboration
Park and Art is not just dance, mime and physical theatre. Rather, this movement extravaganza by the USA’s The Wild Zappers and performers from Hong Kong’s Theatre of the Silence and Youth Outreach – School of Hip-Hop also places tai chi alongside hip-hop and yoga in a special show demonstrating that the arts are a unifying force transcending differences in languages, culture and performance skills. We have two pairs of tickets to the Friday, August 1, performance at the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre’s Theatre to give away. To win yourself a pair, tell us the name of this show’s director.
