The young local cellist Letty Poon is giving a recital with pianists Wendy Leung and Kam Wing-chong. They will play Toccata for Cello and Piano by Frescobaldi and Sonata for Cello and Piano in C major, Op 119 by Prokofiev in the concert on 31 October at 8pm at HK City Hall Concert Hall. Waiting for Godot
With the use of few props and scene changes, this minimalist work by Samuel Beckett has been described as the most significant play of the 20th century. Vladimir and his friend Estragon are waiting for Godot – in the hope of salvation. Pozzo comes in and begins to question their reason for waiting. Many guesses have been made about Godot and the meaning of the play – is it religious, philosophical, classical, psychoanalytical or biographical?
