Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon 2009
Arguably the biggest marathon in HK’s distance-running calendar with 50, 000 runners participating, the Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon takes place on 8 February.
The Harbour Race is one of the world’s toughest marathons as the majority of it is uphill. The course will take runners between skyscrapers, through bustling streets, over bridges and a tunnel before the punishing final 5km climb to the finish line.
To celebrate Standard Chartered Bank's 150th Anniversary in Hong Kong, the total prize money for the Full Marathon has been increased to US$100,000 and a total of HK$144,000 and Standard Chartered Hong Kong's 150 anniversary plaques will be presented to winners who are Permanent Residents of Hong Kong. Trophies will be presented to the first three winners in each category for 10km Challenge, Half Marathon Challenge and Full Marathon Race. Each participant will be given a T-shirt, official programme and souvenir.

Where: 10km race starts at Island Eastern Corridor; Half Marathon and Full Marathon starts outside Hotel Miramar, Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. All races finish in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.
When: Sunday 8 February; 10km Challenge – 5.15am, Half Marathon – 6.50am, Full Marathon – 8am

Bullshooter V Asia Darts Tournament
The Bullshooter V Asia Darts Tournaments has a series of matches for both male and female players, teams and individuals. Highlights include the Hong Kong Open at 9.30am and International Team Challenge at 2pm on 7 February and the Asia Cup at 9.30am and Tripleeight cup at 2.30pm on 8 February.
