HK Vertical 1000 Launch @ Outward Bound HK – 19 September, 2017

HK Vertical 1000 a fundraising abseil, organised by Outward Bound HK, down the outside of One Island East in Quarry Bay was launched at Upper House. 40 people will abseil 1000 feet down the outside of the building to raise money to fund projects for dis-advantaged young people in Hong Kong. FeedingHK Volunteer Night @ Pizza Express Wanchai – 28 August, 2017

Feeding HK held their fifth Volunteer Night at Pizza Express with Liam Collette General Manager of Pizza Express commenting “We are conscious of those less fortunate, and we have worked with Feeding Hong Kong to devise a programme where our leftover fresh dough is baked daily into flatbreads, frozen and redistributed to people in need.  However, this couldn’t be accomplished without the wonderful volunteers that also support this food bank, so we’re delighted to be able to share some tasty treats and a celebratory atmosphere tonight for this well deserving group.”

Elvis 40 Years On

92 year old Uncle Ray and the International Elvis Presley Fan Club (HK) hosted a party to remember the 40th Anniversary of Elvis’s death. Over 250 fans rocked, danced and sang the night away including Ray Cordeiro, Anders Nelsson, Christine Samson, Philip Chan, Joe Jr., Albert Au, Norman Cheng, Ricky Fung, Danny Diaz, Vikki Samson, Larry Samson, Krystal Diaz, Rudy Souza and Arthur Manuntag.

The evening closed with 92 year old Uncle Ray belting out Proud Mary and Can’t Help Falling in Love accompanied by a stage full of friends. Great night and some classic songs that well stand the test to time. Click on any photo for the full gallery.
