Ruby Law’s Debut Playboy Shoot

Local photographer Rugby Law celebrated the release of her first USA Playboy shoot – which appears in the May/June 2018 issue – in Wanchai on 4 May. The surprise event organised by her friends saw Law presented with a smoking jacket and a pipe in honour of her Playboy debut.

Law is the first female Hong Kong photographer to appear in the US print edition of the famous magazine – and she’ll soon be appearing again as she’s been commissioned to shoot another set.

Featuring a local model Reluca the 5 hour shoot took place in Bali and showcases Law’s slightly dark, personality driven style.

Asian Film Awards 2018 – Red Carpet

Some very beautifully dressed ladies and elegant gentlemen and some people wearing outfits where you assume they had been paid a fortune to wear something so hideous or that they need some friends who will say “Really we know you love it, but it just doesn’t suit you”. The ‘beauty’ of fashion is we can all agree to disagree.

Holi Festival Colour Party @ Power Station Beach, Lamma – 4 March, 2018

Known as the ‘Festival of Colours’ Holi is a Hindu festival which celebrates the beginning of spring as well as the triumph of good over evil.
Where better to celebrate than on a beach with friends old and new and good music. This year’s Holi Colour Party was held at Power Station Beach, Lamma on the 4 March, 2018. A great time was had by all – even the lone beach crab and the guy who brought his hair spray!

Women of Wine Festival @ The Murray Hong Kong – 1 March, 2018

Over 400 people attended the Women of Wine Festival at the The Murray, Hong Kong on the 1 March which featured wines made by female winemakers from around the world as well as seminars and wine tasting workshops.
Looking to empower and encourage women the festival also saw the launch of the Hong Kong Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award with the winner to be announced in October.
