The original Hidden Agenda opened in 2009 when a pair of post-80s music lovers transformed a band practice room located in a Kwun Tong industrial building into a live house for indie music. The HK Government's “Industrial Building Revitalization” act forced the venue to relocate. Rents and more government red tape forced a second relocation in 2016
