Clever Personal

With Valentines Day approaching bc took a look around the local personals websites to see if love is thriving in the era of swipe left or right.

Among the many adverts, was this wonderfully clever one which is too good not to share.

Kudos to the lady in question, hope it works.

When Dreams Fly They Become Realities

The Black Book Fair Hong Kong is the first local event that looks to embrace and explore the ideas and desires of anarchy.

The Fair offers artists and activists, zines and poetry, and a special appearance by radical thinker Stevphen Shukaitis. Enter with an open mind there is no one to tell you what you can or cannot do. Organiser Ahkok confesses he has “No idea how the police are gonna react.”

When interviewed in Still Loud about what anarchy means to him Ahkok replied “Anarchism to me is about two things: first, being against nationalism. Nationalism is the ugliest shit ever invented. Maybe it’s that I grew up as a musician, and we identify ourselves as punks, metalheads, shoegazers so on and so forth—never “I’m Chinese” or “I’m a Hong Konger”. That’s just fucking lame. The only reason why I’m a Hong Konger is that my mum gave birth to me in Hong Kong, that’s not even my choice, why should I be proud of something I have no control over? And as a species just how much stupid shit have we done because of nationalism?

So, [anarchism] is not only enduring, it’s also reviving.

Secondly, I would say anarchism is about trusting humanity. If you think that we are all selfish and evil from birth, then fuck it, we have to be governed. But if you think not, if selfishness and evil are socially conditioned, then perhaps you are an anarchist too. I agree historically and philosophically it’s from the west, especially from Spanish and French history, but humanity existed long before we invented the idea of government. I think anarchism is a cosmopolitan ideology in which we all experience a pre-government era.”

Rolls-Royce Phantom Launches in Hong Kong

The eighth generation Rolls-Royce Phantom, launched globally in July, was recently unveiled in Hong Kong. The Phantom which debuted in 1925 has long been iconic for the rich, the famous and those wanting to experience something unique and special. An accolade and status earned by from the marque’s engineering, timeless aesthetic acuity and quietly understated luxury.

Addressing guests at the Hong Kong launch, Ian Grant, Regional Sales Manager for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific said, “For almost a century, Phantom has been witness to history as the conveyance of choice for people who have made the world turn – Royalty, world leaders, titans of industry and global megastars.”

The Phantom 8 is the first of a new generation of Rolls-Royce featuring an all-aluminium spaceframe architecture more rigid and lighter and offering improved ride and acoustic comfort. There’s also new double-wishbone front axle and 5-link rear axle offering enhanced stability and control over lateral roll

Under the bonnet is heart of the new Phantom, a 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 engine producing 563bhp of power and 900Nm of torque. To keep that powerful beast from disturbing your conversation the New Phantom has double-glazed windows and more than 130kg of sound insulation.

A double skin alloy on areas within the floor and bulkhead of the spaceframe further reduces road noise. While unique “Silent-Seal” tyres, which have a specific foam layer placed inside the tyre, reduce overall tyre noise by 9db.

Sadly it’ll be next year before you can see the new Phantom on the streets of Hong Kong as deliveries are only expected to begin in the first half of 2018. Recommended retail price $9.6million++

Erotica As A Commodity, Asia Adult Expo

https://bcmagazine.smugmug.com/Bcene-photos/2017/Adult-Asia-Expo-HKCEC-29-August-2017/i-XDxdJVK

Asia’s Adult Expo returns with the latest in sex toys, gadgets and games. For an expo focused on erotica, the atmosphere is decidedly non-erotic and more hard-core sales.

Erotica is loving the idea of Virtual Reality headsets as games and movies abound looking to exploit the new technology. Pairing VR to the physical allows you to feel or touch a cock or vagina as you watch or participate virtually.

Newly launched is a ‘viagra for women’ called Sharkyo. Developed in China and for Chinese regulatory reasons it’s officially a ‘make-up’ product, the gel is applied internally to the vagina via a plastic applicator and apparently it increases wetness, sensory stimulation and even tightens the vagina walls.
