The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Macao Orchestra held their first-ever joint concert as respective conductors Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Lü Jia kept a packed Venetian Theatre entertained with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B minor.

Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin makes his inaugural tour with The Philadelphia Orchestra as it returns to The Venetian Macao to perform at the Venetian Theatre for The Philadelphia Orchestra 2014 China Residency & Tour of Asia on Friday 30 May. The orchestra will then team up with the Macao Orchestra to play another distinct programme for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Macao Orchestra Together in Concert Saturday, May 31.
